Baiju Vasani
Head of International Dispute Resolution, Ivanyan and Partners, London and Moscow
Baiju Vasani is an international arbitration lawyer and arbitrator based in London and Moscow. For the last two decades, he has served as advocate or arbitrator in dozens of high-value international arbitrations across a range of sectors and industries involving ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC, LCIA, ICDR, SIAC, BITs, the Energy Charter Treaty, and public international law. He has also advised States on the negotiation and drafting of investment treaties, and investors on the (re)structuring of their investments for maximum treaty protection consonant with tax and corporate governance strategies. He currently serves as lead advocate on several investor-State and international commercial arbitrations, as well as sits as arbitrator (sole, wing, and Chair) on a number of cases.

He is a Senior Fellow of SOAS University of London, where he lectures on international arbitration. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and on the arbitrator panels of various institutions worldwide. He has given well over 100 public speeches in his career, on every major continent, and is often asked to provide keynote addresses at major global conferences.

Alexei Avtonomov
Alexei Avtonomov, a professor (a degree of Professor in Russian Federation and Kazakhstan), LLD, Doc.Hab., a Vice-Rector of the Institute of International Law and Economics named after Alexander Griboyedov, an Attorney-at-Law at "Grib & Partners". In 2003-2020 he was a member of the UN Committee of the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD), including 2012-2014 its Chairperson, in 2008-2010 and in 2014-2016 a Vice-Chairperson and in 2016-2018 a Rapporteur of CERD. He was a Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in 2014 (Switzerland) and in 2015 (Serbia) on Combating Racism, Xenophobia and Discrimination, also Focusing on Intolerance and Discrimination against Christians and Members of Other Religions. He is an expert of the OSCE Moscow Mechanism since 2014. He has a big amount of publications in Russia and abroad, as well as a great experience in teaching in Russian (the Moscow Institute for International Relations, the Moscow State University named after Mikhail Lomonosov, the High School of Economics, the State University for Humanitarian Studies, etc.) and foreign (Canada – Carleton University, Kazakhstan – University named after Dinmukamed Kunaev and National University named after Al-Farabi) establishments of higher education. He works in scientific research institutions – in the Institute of State and Law (Russian Academy of Science) and in the Institute for Legislation and Comparative Law. He was an Editor-in-Chief of the journal "State and Law" in 2007-2018, and now he is an Editor-in-Chief of the journals "Issues in Juvenile Justice" and "Legal Issues of Real Estate". He is a member of sundry expert and civic councils. He is an evaluator of social projects.

In 2000, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law of St. Petersburg University, in 2003, he defended his thesis on the subject "The Electoral System as a Legal Institute".

In 1999-2003, he worked at the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly, the Statutory Court, and the St. Petersburg Administration.

Since 2004 - professor at St. Petersburg University. Head of the expert project on law enforcement monitoring at St. Petersburg University, since 2007 - individual Member of the International Association of Constitutional Law (IACL), since June 2018 - member of the Executive Committee of IACL, member of the editorial board of the Russian Law Journal, editor-in-chief of the "Pravovedenie" journal, member of the Scientific Advisory Board under the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.

Vasilka Sancin
Vasilka Sancin, PhD, Associate Professor of International Law, is a Head of Department of International Law and a Director of the Institute for International Law and International Relations at University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law. She serves as a member and a Vice-Chair of the UN Human Rights Committee and an arbitrator and a member of the Bureau of the Court of Conciliation and Arbitration within OSCE. She is a President of the Slovene Branch of International Law Association (ILA) and a member of number of other professional associations in the field of international law.

Surya P. Subedi QC
Professor P. Subedi holds a DPhil (PhD) in international law with a prize from the University of Oxford and an LLM in international law with Distinction from the University of Hull. He qualified as a Barrister in England in 2007 and was made a Queen's Counsel (QC), honoris causa in 2017. He is Professor of International Law at the University of Leeds and a Barrister at Three Stone Chambers, Lincoln's Inn, London. He has acted as a counsel in a number of cases before the international courts and tribunals, including the International Court of Justice and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), and before the courts in England. He was elected to the Nobel Prize winning Institut de Droit International in 2011 and made a Membre Titulaire in 2015. He was awarded the highest degree – the Doctor of Civil Law (DCL) - by the University of Oxford in 2019 in recognition of his contribution to international law. The judges of the award panel at Oxford described Professor Subedi as "a scholar of uncommon breadth of knowledge and depth of thinking in international law" when deciding to award him the DCL.
He has published eight books and nearly 60 scholarly articles in international law. Many of the pioneering ideas that were advanced in the first edition of his book entitled 'International Investment Law: Reconciling Policy and Principle' in 2008 have been taken up by governments and international organisations in their attempts to reform the investor-State dispute settlement mechanism and strike a balance between different competing principles in developing international investment law. It has been translated into foreign languages, including Chinese and Farsi, and published in several countries. It now is in its 4th edition.

Eirik Bjorge
Professor Eirik Bjorge, Bristol University Law School is the author of The Evolutionary Interpretation of Treaties (OUP 2014) and Domestic Application of the ECHR (OUP 2015) and is at present co-authoring, with Sir Frank Berman, the treaties chapters of Oppenheim's International Law (10th edn, OUP). Professor Bjorge has acted as expert and counsel in proceedings before international courts and tribunals, including ICSID and UNCITRAL tribunals, the International Court of Justice, and the European Court of Human Rights.

Lindsay Reimschussel
Lindsay has represented investors and states in investor-state arbitration matters. She has served as counsel in arbitrations under ICSID, ICSID Additional Facility, and UNCITRAL Rules. Lindsay has also advised potential claimants on the relative merits of their claims and advised investors on structuring investments to maximize treaty protection in conjunction with tax and corporate governance issues. Lindsay holds a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from Brigham Young University. Prior to joining Ivanyan and Partners she worked in the international arbitration group of a large, U.S.-based law firm.
